The quality of life and living space and the healthy urban climate in Braunau should be promoted and further increased – that is the goal of the “City Trees for Braunau” project. True to the motto “Bring more green to the city,” private garden owners are set to benefit again this year: The municipality is running a funding campaign for all those who want to plant new trees in their gardens. The purchase costs of up to three trees will be covered up to 50 percent or a maximum of 100 euros. Requirement for tree planting: It must be in the Braunau urban area. The tree seedlings must be soil-bound, i.e. not in pots or plant troughs, and planted professionally.
