The sportswear manufacturer Eisbär, best known for its headgear, has a new managing director. Jürgen Nairz has taken over from Ronald Mühlböck, who was at the helm for around four years. Nairz brings 35 years in sales and marketing. Most recently, he was managing director at the German sportswear manufacturer Schöffel for twelve years, where, among other things, he was responsible for setting up the Austrian subsidiary. Eisbär, which produces a large part of its products in Feldkirchen/Donau, employs 50 people. Sales were most recently at 5.9 million euros. The owners are two Swarovski holding companies.
Eisbär operates in the premium segment; recently, the reluctance to buy and the warm autumn and winter had an impact on demand. Here you can read more about it:
