The four electric vehicles now have a total of more than 1.1 million kilometers on the clock. The oldest vehicle in the quartet has a mileage of 303,000.
“After more than 300,000 kilometers and five years, our Niros still have a range of 500 kilometers,” says owner Manuela Kopf. According to the importer Kia Austria, the batteries in the four cars still have full performance capacity.
Zero repair costs so far
The taxi company is also very satisfied with the running costs: “The repair costs for the vehicles are zero euros, not even brake pads have had to be changed to date,” says Christian Schmidle, the company’s managing director.
