200 years of Anton Bruckner, 120 years of Count Basie or 50 years of Wickie: The Tragwein music association under bandmaster Christian Naderer wants to impress at the spring concert on Saturday with cheerful Viking songs, swinging big band sound and the finale from Bruckner’s 8th symphony.
The motto “Melodies for millions” underlines film music from Hollywood, John Powell “Taming dragons made easy” and Ennio Morricones “Cinema Paradise”, with a flute solo by Laura Edtbauer. The youth band “Teen Tones” Under Johannes Kastner presents Harry Potter film music as well as the party hit “Shut up and dance”. Yes, and who does a white bathrobe remind you of at the encore? The concert starts at 8 p.m. in the elementary school gym.
