The Linz car spring begins today

Today, at 9 a.m., the 52nd Linz Car Spring opens its “garage doors”. 200 new vehicles are waiting for those interested. The OÖNachrichten has compiled the most important figures about the already traditional Linz car show in the Linz Design Center.

  • 4 euros entry costs for children up to 15 years old; Adults pay 12 euros. The family ticket (two adults and children up to 15 years old) costs 26 euros.
  • 7 million shillings The 110 new vehicles exhibited at the first car spring in 1971 were worth (the equivalent of a good 500,000 euros).
  • 9 clock: The Linz Car Spring takes place on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the Design Center.

This temporary charging park is being built by Keba, the Linz-based specialist for electric car charging solutions, together with Linz AG.
  • 30 percent All new cars on display have a fully electric drive.
  • 40 brands will be on display in the Design Center this year – from A for Abarth and Alfa Romeo to V for Volvo and VW. Two brands – BYD from China and the US brand Fisker – are taking part for the first time this year. The fully electric SUV, the Fisker Ocean, is built by Magna in Graz and can be seen at the Sonnleitner car dealership stand. The South Korean brand Ssangyong is celebrating a return with several models.
