The company fire brigade at Innsbruck Airport was alerted and the landing gear was cooled. Police said the smoke was probably caused by a technical defect in the chassis. No one was injured and there was no danger to anyone, it said.

The plane with 173 passengers on board touched down in Innsbruck at 10:35 a.m. While the aircraft was taxiing to the assigned parking space, smoke suddenly came out of the right main landing gear, whereupon the company fire department became active.
The amount of damage was not yet clear. Air traffic at Innsbruck Airport was only affected by the incident for around 15 minutes.
