The final round of the 27th Hausruckviertler Tarock Cup took place on Saturday at the Gasthof Greisinger in Frankenmarkt. After an exciting tournament with 119 participants, a well-known trio stood at the top of the results list: Franz Oberndorfer (Lenzing) secured his second Hausruckcup victory after 2021/22 with 1191 points ahead of Franz Padinger (1071, Pöndorf) and Andreas Fellner (1008, Feldkirchen).
The 20 best in the cup rankings will play for the Upper Austria championship title in April against the best players from the Sauwald Tarock Cup and Mühlviertler Tarock Cup. The best 88 in the overall ranking are then qualified for the Tarock Austria final.
The Hausruckviertel Tarock Cup is a series of tournaments in Königrufen that has been held annually since 1997/98. This year it consisted of 23 tournaments that were held between September and March in Upper Austria and Salzburg.
