A 32-year-old woman from Salzburg lost control of her vehicle in a right-hand bend in the municipality of Hörsching (Linz-Land) on Friday evening. She drove over a curb and collided with a traffic sign and a garden fence. The reason for the accident emerged a short time later: According to the press spokesman, an alcohol test carried out by the police showed a blood alcohol level of 1.76 per mille – the woman’s driver’s license was temporarily confiscated on the spot.
The mother-in-law of the drunken driver then came from Traun to the scene of the accident – also by car – to pick up the 32-year-old. The police immediately noticed that the mother-in-law also appeared to be drunk. An alcohol test was immediately carried out on her – this too was positive and showed a level of 0.88 per mille. So the mother-in-law’s driver’s license was also taken away. However, this made the 32-year-old from Salzburg so angry that she became aggressive, whereupon the police even had to arrest the woman for a short time.
