The other investment of the RAS Group
The fact that the company’s machinery transports liquid bulk is not a coincidence, but is related to the project presented by the group to build a liquid bulk terminal in the Port of Montevideo. At the beginning of this month, the National Ports Administration (ANP) called for bids for the construction of a terminal specialized in liquid bulk, which has the objective of providing the necessary infrastructure to promote the business of fuels based in renewable energy, especially the green hydrogen.
Advancement in the million-dollar business green hydrogen will require the development of adequate infrastructure. From there, from the ANP will launch a tender that will begin on April 4 for all private applicants who want to participate in the initiative, for which several bidders are expected.
The initiative was also presented by the Ras Group, who presented the project for the construction of this terminal. He also has a plan to develop a green fuels refinery in the department of Cannelloni. From ANP, They assured that the group will have a certain advantage over the bidders since it was responsible for presenting the initiative.
