The Ministry of Economy and Finance relaunched the instrument, placing a total of almost US$45 million.

He Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) relaunched the Treasury Note Series 31 in Indexed Units (UI), which had a demand of more than double what was offered, ratifying the interest of the investors by the instrument.

Within the framework of the titles calendar planned by the MEF and the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU), the NT offered 200,000 UI (about 31 million dollars), with a demand of 493,550 UI (more than 76 million dollars), accepting a total of 288,290 UI (more than 44 million dollars).

The Treasury Notes had a cut-off price of 102.32 and were yielding 2.7310%, according to data from the Uruguayan Electronic Stock Exchange (Bevsa). The integration date will be this Wednesday the 20th and the expiration date is January 18, 2029.

Thus, despite the drop compared to the launch in January, which had a demand five times what was offered, the UI notes continue to capture the market’s appetite, something that had also happened with the NT Series 32 in February.
