The only man in the house is found with a knife in his back. He is dead. With him on a remote country estate are eight women from a family who, when the body is found, realize that the murderer must be among them because no one else was there. But who killed him? None of the eight women from three generations have an alibi, but apparently all eight have a motive. So begins a crazy game of hide-and-seek in which everyone tries to keep their secret.
The Bauhoftheater is bringing Robert Thomas’s theater classic to the stage in the Old Music School in its anniversary year (20 years of existence). Eight women from the Bauhoftheater have decided to offer high-quality entertainment with this crime comedy. Because the piece is much more than just that: “It’s about femininity, about family and women in general, their longings, disappointments and loves. So each of the women has a song, a song, a monologue that corresponds to their character and life path is adapted to the respective woman. These interludes are intended to describe the women, other than through their dialogues and their psychology, and thus also bring very personal aspects to light,” explains director Robert Ortner. The play takes place in April in the old music school, the so-called Stöger-stadl. Because places are limited, it’s important to get your tickets quickly. The eight women will be on stage for the first time on Thursday, April 4th at 8 p.m. Further game dates are Friday 5th, Saturday 6th April, Thursday 11th, Friday 12th and Saturday 13th April, as well as Thursday 18th, Thursday 25th, Friday 26th and Saturday , April 27th, 8 p.m.
