In a drugstore in the city center, a 31-year-old helped himself to various cosmetic products. But he didn’t want to pay for it. After being approached and stopped by a store detective and two security guards, the 31-year-old pushed an officer. He fell to the ground and was slightly injured. Following this argument, the thief tried to escape.
However, a 34-year-old passer-by and witness was able to hold the man right next to the drugstore and prevent him from escaping. Shortly later, the man was handed over to a patrol from the Passau police station and taken into custody until the following day. Several criminal proceedings were initiated.
