Antel obtained profits of 246.4 million dollars in 2023 and, although it represents a slight decrease compared to the results of 2021 (246.8 million) and 2021 (247.2 million), it consolidates a process of growth with the three best results in its history, for a total of more than 740 million dollars.

“This is a period of strengthening for Antel, with solid growth indicators, high levels of investment and the possibility of making contributions that the State converts into works and services for the population,” said Suburú, who echoed the EBITDA margin of 33% and an operational of 23%. “These are excellent margins for this industry, with high levels of competition,” he highlighted.

Operating income and expenses

Investments of 156 million dollars

On the other hand, the state company specified that investments for 156 million dollars, most of it destined to specify infrastructure to make available the 5G network in all the country. At the same time, progress was also made with fiber optic works in Montevideo and the interior of the country, for about 181 million.

Finally, Antel’s contribution to General Revenues reached 116 million dollars, which rises to 143 million including payments accrued from the previous year.
