On February 26, a 36-year-old Welser stole a daily solution from the cash register at the gas station where he worked. He then fled in his car. The police tracked down and arrested the accused in Wels on Wednesday. He has since changed his name.

The 36-year-old was taken to the Wels prison by order of the Wels public prosecutor. The police also seized some of the money and returned it to the accused’s employer. The Welser confessed during his interrogation and stated that financial distress was the motive.
