The woman was heading downhill from the Schweinfurter Hut to a parking lot when she lost control of the toboggan on a steeper, partly icy section and went over the right edge of the path. The 28-year-old tobogganed a few meters over the slope and finally crashed into a tree.

The German was given first aid on the spot by the crew of a rescue helicopter, the police said. She was then flown to the hospital.
