The woman was on an off-piste descent down the valley when she had an accident on a slope with a gradient of around 50 degrees and fell 25 meters.

The German was initially treated on the spot by winter sports enthusiasts, the piste rescue team and a rescue helicopter team. The 59-year-old was then flown to the Innsbruck clinic, the police informed.
