Set above the Eastern Alpine region Tuesdays South foehn. North of the main Alpine ridge and in the east, the sun shines widely alongside a few thin cloud fields and it becomes very mild. In the southwest and south, however, dense clouds build up over the course of the day and it starts to rain here towards the evening. Both in some foehn zones on the north side of the Alps and on the eastern edge of the Alps, brisk to strong winds are blowing from the southeast to the south. Daily maximum temperatures of nine to foehn 19 degrees.

At first it is even friendlier on the foehn-drenched north side of the Alps, with the sun shining at times, especially in the north and east. A fault zone is moving Thursday eastwards. From the Mühlviertel to Burgenland, dense clouds will initially prevail and there will be a few showers. Further west and southwest, the day starts with intermittent sunshine and just a few harmless clouds. From midday onwards, thicker clouds will gather here again and the tendency to showers will increase. Daily maximum temperatures of twelve to 18 degrees.
