These natural ingredients color eggs colorfully

Of course you can also mix the different ingredients – and experiment a little.

  • Yellow: Chamomile flowers and turmeric powder, or just turmeric
  • Orange: Onion peels give the skin an orange to rusty red color
  • Red: Beetroot color the peel red to pink
  • Green: Nettle leaves color the eggs yellow-green. Spinach gives the skin a pale green
  • Blue: Red cabbage
