“Once the registry is closed, the information will be sent to Montevideo and the recharge will be done as quickly as possible,” said Sciarra.

According to the latest report from the National Emergency System, as of Monday afternoon there were 5,582 people displaced by the floods throughout the country, distributed in Canelones, Florida, Durazno and San José.
