Magnitude of 4.8: Earthquake in northern Italy also felt in Carinthia

As the Austrian Seismological Service announced, a magnitude of 4.8 was recorded in the Villa Santina area (Friuli-Venezia Giulia region) at 10:19 p.m. The tremors were also felt “weakly to clearly” in the Austrian state of Carinthia. Almost half an hour later (10:45 p.m.) an aftershock (magnitude 2.6) occurred. This was also perceived “weakly” in Carinthia.
