The spring bird migration is observed at the reservoirs of the Lower Inn. Early spring is also the time of migratory birds in the Lower Inn European Reserve. Hundreds of thousands of birds are on their way from the southern winter quarters to the breeding areas in northern Europe; the Lower Inn European Reserve is directly on the travel route of many migratory birds. The Inn reservoirs with their extensive shallow water zones, sandbanks and islands are a welcome opportunity for migrating birds to take a break.
Registrations are requested via the booking portal on the homepage www.naturium-am-inn.eu or by email to naturium@rottal-inn.de. The tours last around two hours each, the participation fee is three euros, children are free. The meeting point is at Naturium, Innwerkstraße 15, Ering.
