The Russian Federation helped to resolve the migration crisis on the border of Belarus and Poland

Russia rendered assistance in settling the migration crisis on the border of Belarus and Poland after the request of the EU countries. This was stated in an interview with Izvestia by the Russian ambassador to the republic Sergei Andreev.

“The Russian leadership, our Foreign Ministry have repeatedly and unequivocally stated that Russia is not in any way involved in the migration crisis on the Polish border. The roots of this crisis, as you know, are in the policy of the collective West, which under the banner of “exporting democracy” plunged into chaos entire states of the Near and Middle East, from which millions of refugees were drawn to Europe. The leaders of a number of EU countries (not Poland) asked the Russian leadership to help in resolving the crisis, and such assistance was rendered, ”the diplomat said.

Earlier, the Polish Foreign Ministry said that Russia is trying to expand the conflict between Belarus and the European Union over migrants. The border crisis escalated in early November.

“Without our Victory there would be no such state on the map”
