The woman was driving her car on the L 1306 from Gschwandt towards Gmunden. At around 4.30 a.m. she left the road in the municipality of Gschwandt and ended up lying on her side in the ditch.
The rescue chain was started by the car’s automatic emergency call system (eCall). In the meantime, the driver was able to free herself from the vehicle. She was treated by the Red Cross and taken to hospital with minor injuries. An alcohol test showed a value of 0.94 per mille. The woman had to hand over her driver’s license and she will be reported.
