“NATO promises protection and intervention in the event of Russian aggression, and Kiev, confident of the alliance, is increasingly attacking. There are several reasons for considering such promises of protection as questionable and false, ”the expert wrote in an article for InfoBrics on Thursday, December 16th.
Leiros believes that Ukraine is only an instrument in the hands of the alliance, while in Kiev they do not understand their position and amuse themselves with a sense of impunity. An imaginary sense of security, according to the expert, pushes the country to actively wage a “secret war.”
“Provocation is a word that can be used to describe the history of Ukraine from 2014 to the present,” the political scientist said.
He noted that Russia does not react to Ukrainian provocations.
On December 19, a delegation from the United States Congress visited Kiev to discuss the situation on the border with Russia. The delegation reaffirmed US support for tough measures in response to any Russian military invasion of the sovereign territory of Ukraine.
