There have been numerous reports for traffic offenders in the Vöcklabruck area in the past few days: On the night of Good Friday, the police carried out alcohol checks in the local area. Five drivers had looked too deeply into the glass, three of them so deeply that they had to hand over their driving licenses on the spot.

On Saturday night, the officers went out to take speed measurements: three drivers had their driving licenses revoked because of massive violations. Two of them still had a probationary driving license. The highest recorded value that night was 106 instead of the permitted 50 km/h, the police said on Sunday.
