A storm warning applies to all of Upper Austria on Easter Monday, and there is even an orange warning level in the Salzkammergut and the Pyhrn-Priel region. However, the storm had not yet shown its worst side by the afternoon. It only raged violently in the southern districts. In the Kirchdorf district, trees fell and roofs were damaged due to the strong gusts. According to initial information, no one was injured.

Other parts of Austria were hit more directly by the storm – there were power outages and numerous traffic disruptions in Styria and Carinthia. Seeberg Straße (B82) was closed in both directions between Seeberg and Völkermarkt Sittersdorf, as was Rosental Straße (B85) between Freibach and the Miklauzhof intersection. On Monday afternoon, the Karawanken mountains in Carinthia were particularly affected by strong winds, and in Styria the northern regions were affected.
