Members of the World Central Kitchen died after an air attack by the Israeli army, according to the NGO on its networks.
Four workers from the NGO World Central Kitchen died this Monday after a bombing by the Israeli air force, according to the founder of the association, the chef Jose Andres.

“The group lost several of our sisters and brothers in an IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) airstrike in Gaza. I’m heartbroken and I’m in mourning for the families and friends and the entire WCK family,” he wrote on his X Andrés account.

In turn, the NGO spokesperson expressed herself in a statement: “We know that members of the World Central Kitchen team have died in an attack by the Israel Defense Forces while working to support our humanitarian food delivery efforts. in Gaza. It’s a tragedy”.
Israel’s attack that killed aid workers
The attack left a total of five dead, four belonging to a WCK humanitarian group and the driver who was transporting them. Those in the group were a Briton, a Pole, an Australian and an Irishman; while the driver was a native of Gaza.
They are the first foreign humanitarian workers killed in the Gaza war since its beginning on October 7, which has already left a death toll of more than 32,800 victimsthe majority being women and children.
“Humanitarian aid workers and civilians should never be a target. Never. We will share more information when we have gathered all the data,” Roth said.
