Good news for local companies: The submission deadline for Pegasus, the country’s most important business award, has been extended by a week. Companies can apply in five categories until Friday, April 12th.
The Baumgartner brewery from Schärding, which applied in the success stories category, has already taken advantage of the opportunity. The roots go back to 1609. The beers only use water from our own wells and hops and barley from the region. The company, headed by managing director Gerhard Altendorfer, continually invests in the environment: for example, it uses its own exhaust air. In recent years, the 0.33 liter containers for some varieties have been switched from disposable to reusable.
