A 45-year-old from the Schärding district was traveling by car shortly after noon on Saturday with his 37-year-old partner and his three-year-old son. In the town of Münzkirchen he wanted to turn left onto Molkereistrasse and had to stop the car because of oncoming traffic.
The following 64-year-old motorcycle driver, also from the Schärding district, probably noticed this too late and crashed into the rear of the car. The man fell and hit his head on a sidewalk. After receiving initial care from an emergency doctor, he was taken to the Schärding Clinic.
