32,000 euros for two football pitches

With 18,000 euros for ASV Movement Steyr and 14,000 euros for SK Vorwärts Steyr, the city is supporting two football clubs with lawn care.

Movement is building a new irrigation system because it is not possible to optimally irrigate the square using “spray trucks”. According to offers from specialist companies, the club will incur costs of 51,331.80 euros, part of which will be covered by the city. Vorwärts receives extraordinary funding from the city for the very complex maintenance of the lawn that was renovated in 2021.
