“Kill them all”: IS terrorist threat before Champions League quarter-finals

IS terrorist threat before today’s Champions League game in Madrid

Before the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals this morning, the terrorist militia Islamic State (IS) issued a threat against the host stadiums. Today’s games between Arsenal – Bayern and Real – ManCity as well as tomorrow’s Wednesday matches between PSG – Barcelona and Atlético – Dortmund are affected.

The following post was distributed on social media via the al-Azaim media arm:

The Emirates Stadium in London, the Parc de Princes in Paris and the Madrid Metropolitano stadiums as well as the Santiago Bernabéu can be seen in a four-part image. A masked terrorist stands in front of it with a Kalashnikov. The inscription: “Kill them all” can also be read.

Media in Spain report that the Spanish government is well aware of the possible threat. Only at a safety meeting before the respective game will a decision be made as to whether additional measures are needed. Since the IS attack on a concert hall in Moscow a good two weeks ago, in which at least 143 people died, several countries have increased their terror alert levels.
