The preparations have taken months, but in just a few weeks it will finally start: The company “Mahlzeit” will also deliver “Meals on Wheels” in the Innviertel’s largest municipality in terms of area, Lengau.
In cooperation with the municipality, citizens from Lengau and surrounding communities will in future be provided with warm meals from Monday to Sunday. There are different menus to choose from every day. “Mahlzeit”, with its headquarters in Linz and locations in Wels, Vorchdorf and Braunau, has 75 employees throughout Upper Austria and regularly supplies over 2,000 older people with senior-friendly menus. “Mahlzeit” was founded in 1998 by the Red Cross, Volkshilfe and the Samaritan Association, and the Gourmet company has also been involved since 2010.
