Wild scenes took place on Tuesday evening in the parking lot of a retail branch in Wels: A 34-year-old Romanian is said to have attacked a 59-year-old Dutchman, punched him and threatened him dangerously.
The argument started because the Dutchman was careless. When he tried to reverse his car out of a parking space, he must have overlooked the Romanian’s 22-year-old partner. His car hit the woman. The driver immediately stopped and got out to check on her.
The Romanian, who witnessed the accident, is said to have immediately reacted aggressively and punched the 59-year-old in the collarbone area. He is also said to have dangerously threatened the driver, according to the police, who have started the investigation. The 22-year-old was taken to the Wels Clinic for a check-up.
