The 45-year-old Czech has already admitted to having committed the two workshop burglaries at the end of December. During the first break-in in Linz, he was also caught by the manager, but fought back and was able to escape. During the second burglary in the Linz-Land district, he stole a luxury sports car that he took to the Czech Republic. The car was found in the Budweis area on January 1st in cooperation with the Czech police.
During the course of the investigation, the 45-year-old was found to have committed two more burglaries. But a few days ago that ended. The person wanted under a European arrest warrant was arrested at the Wullowitz border crossing, extradited to Austria and taken to the Linz prison.
