“Opposite or driving apart”: This is the motto under which the Steyr artist Alfred Rameis presents his current works in the Welser Wimmer Medien Galerie (Stadtplatz 41).
“Abstraction and reduction characterize his works, he mixes the colors himself. In addition to canvases, which he works on in both large and small formats, nothing, certainly nothing, is safe from him,” said laudator Martin Stieger at the opening on Wednesday about the artist.
Robert Reif, regional director of Sparkasse Oberösterreich, opened the show: “The shares are at a high level and I think the pictures from Rameis would also be a safe bet, and they are still cheap,” emphasized the banker. The exhibition can be seen until May 8th during office opening hours or by telephone at 0699/111 73 303.
