An 18-year-old driver from the Ried district drove his car towards Eitzing around 5:25 p.m. When the young driver wanted to overtake a cyclist (34), he overlooked an oncoming car. To avoid a collision, the 18-year-old steered to the right again. His vehicle hit the biker.
The 34-year-old from the Ried district fell and remained injured in an adjacent field. Both car drivers provided first aid before the 34-year-old was taken to hospital by emergency services.
