Linz AG has technically upgraded the e-charging station in Johann-Wöckinger-Strasse in Mittertreffling. The newly built fast charging station has been offering four charging points with a total output of 240 kW since last week. Two charging points with 150 kW each enable particularly fast charging. A canopy offers users additional comfort.
The charging station in Mittertreffling is well frequented, not least because of its proximity to the motorway exit. “This fast charging station is a perfect addition to the existing e-filling stations and the sustainable infrastructure in the community. There is now a unique opportunity to combine the ecological refueling of the car with shopping or personal refueling during a walk in the nature in Engerwitzdorf ”, says Herbert Fürst (VP), Mayor of Enterwitzdorf.
When the charging station was commissioned, Erich Haider, General Director of Linz AG, was also present: “The expansion of the e-charging infrastructure is one of our priorities with solutions for urban or rural areas, as is the case here.” According to Andreas Reinhardt, head of the Linz AG mobility team , the charging location in Mittertreffling fulfills all requirements for an upgrade to 300 kW, if this becomes necessary.
