Bernhard Thumfart elected mayor

The VP politician – he was the only candidate – received 89.83 percent yes votes, 10.17 percent of voters voted against him. The voter turnout was 59.66 percent.

“I’m very satisfied, the result is an honor. I was hoping for around 80 percent, and I’m very pleased that it’s now almost 90,” said the newly elected mayor. He sees the clear vote above all as a work order: “I will do my best to continue the successful policy in Vorderweißenbach,” said Thumfart. The redesign of the town center and the associated new rooms for child care, music and the parish are a real major project. Construction work is scheduled to start in 2025.
