Education department examines discharge of school doctors critical of vaccinations

According to the Ministry of Education, the names of eight school doctors should be found under the letter. The education directorates should now clarify whether the letter was really signed by them. If so, the dismissal is to be pronounced.

Last week, around 200 doctors sent an open letter calling for Szekeres to resign because he currently sees no reason in a circular to advise patients against vaccinating against COVID-19. The undersigned, however, question the effectiveness and safety of the vaccine in healthy people under 65 with no risk factors.

Also supporters from Upper Austria

Among the names of the supporters was that of the state school doctor of Salzburg. The Ministry of Education has therefore asked the nine Directorates of Education to sift through the list. A total of eight school doctors from six federal states appear as supporters, namely in Burgenland, Carinthia, Salzburg, Styria, Upper Austria and Vorarlberg.

Since there are no personal signatures under the letter, but only the names, according to a statement by the ministry general secretary Martin Netzer, the education directorates should now clarify whether the school doctors actually supported the letter “and thus spoke out against a vaccination”. Until the final clarification, they should no longer work in the schools. Those school doctors who signed the letter are to be released.

No intervention by the medical association

Netzer emphasized that there was no intervention or request to the Ministry of Education by the President of the Medical Association, Szekeres. Since the federal school doctors are employees of the Ministry of Education, the Medical Association also has no basis for legal consequences.

In the Ö1 morning journal on Tuesday there was also a report on the case of a Viennese school doctor who works at an elementary school in the Danube city and who had caught a vaccination-critical YouTube video even before the open letter was signed. In it, she claimed that a large number of young people died from side effects of the corona vaccination who would not have died from Covid-19. According to the report, the Vienna health authority MA15 is now taking disciplinary measures.
