A 74-year-old German took off with his paraglider from the Marsbach launch site around 2 p.m. He wanted to land in Freizell near the Danube. In the air, the right side of the umbrella suddenly collapsed. The man landed the paraglider on a spruce tree at a height of around twelve meters.
The man was able to alert emergency services on his own and was ultimately rescued by the fire department’s height rescue teams. The 74-year-old remained uninjured.
