The Baltic countries are ready to provide Ukraine with various assistance, including military assistance. This was stated on December 21 by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania Arvydas Anushauskas after a meeting in Kaunas with his colleagues from Latvia and Estonia.
He stressed that Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia support the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the inviolability of its borders, as well as ongoing reforms in the country’s defense sector.
“If necessary, the Baltic states are ready to provide Ukraine with very quick support, both military and non-military. Our unity and support from Ukraine are very important, ”Anushauskas said.
At a meeting in Kaunas, the defense ministers of the Baltic countries signed an agreement on the joint development of multiple launch rocket systems. They turned to the United States for technology, the press service of the Lithuanian Defense Ministry reported.
On the eve of December 20, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called on NATO to develop a plan against Russia. According to him, NATO should respond not only by concentrating its troops on the eastern flank, but also by strengthening its military potential.

On November 21, Peskov said that the West is artificially stirring up hysteria with its statements about the alleged preparation of Russia for an attack on Ukraine. According to him, provocations are not ruled out, and the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance should stop “pumping up Ukraine with modern weapons.”
