“I have no words for what it means to me to win this tournament for the second time,” said the American. Scheffler wasn’t even sure whether he would even finish the $18 million tournament.

For the world number one, the victory in Augusta was his third title at the fourth tournament of the season. At the Houston Open he narrowly had to admit defeat in second place.
