This means that the prices for end-of-life cars have risen more strongly than in Germany (ten percent), Italy (seven percent) or France (two percent). That is what the Autoscout24 sales platform calculated yesterday. Andre Eckert, Regional Manager of AutoScout24 in Austria, described 2021 as an “absolutely exceptional year” with a view to the price dynamics in the used car market. The most popular brands this year were VW, Mercedes and BMW. For the most coveted model, the VW Golf, an average of just under 19.00 euros had to be paid across Europe.
It is noticeable that the demand for used e-cars is increasing noticeably. The front runner here is the Renault Zoe with an average price of 16,412 euros. The Tesla Model 3 (49,026 euros) and the Model S (51,955 euros) are significantly more expensive.
