A police patrol from the state transport department became aware of the situation at Linz-Pichling train station through a radio message around 10 a.m.
When the police arrived at the platform, a 47-year-old woman from Linz was lying motionless on the ground. After one of the officers found the woman not breathing, resuscitation began. After using the defibrillator, the woman showed signs of life again. An emergency doctor took over further treatment.
