A difficult away game awaits the footballers of SV Guntamatic Ried this evening (6.10 p.m.) in the 24th round of the second league. Opponent Horn is currently in seventh place with 33 points, the gap to second-placed Rieder is eight points. At home, the Waldviertel team won no less than eight wins in eleven games and are therefore in third place in the home table behind GAK and SV Ried. So it’s no wonder that SV Ried kicker Philipp Pomer is expecting a difficult game. “We will have to work hard to get the three points. To win, we need a unified team performance.” SVR coach Maximilian Senft warns about SV Horn: “They are a team that likes to play. We have to go into the duels to take away the fun of the game. We want to give our traveling fans a victory, we will give everything to achieve that.”
In terms of personnel, Senft can rely on the entire squad apart from the long-term injured Marcel Ziegl, Matthias Gragger and Ben Wörndl. Belmin Beganovic is also back in the squad for the first time since the end of February after his muscle injury. The Ried team won the first game of the season against Horn 5-0.
