This emerges from the latest bulletin on Real Estate Activity Indicators (IAI), which takes into account the median values in the purchase and sale market, at a time when many Uruguayans prefer to rent.

Regarding the amount of purchase and sale registrations, which analyzes data from February, the INE revealed that 3,063 were registered, of which 34.54% belong to Montevideo, 19.33% to Maldonado, 12.47% to Cannelloni, 5.16% to Rocha and 4.8% to Cologne.
In turn, a decrease in the median price of purchase and sale registrations was observed compared to the previous month, which reached 0.90% for Montevideo, standing at $110,000, in contrast to the 16.67% improvement for the inside of the country, where the value reached 70,000.
