Decisive days and weeks in the spring wage round: Negotiations at the AUA have been underway again since Sunday after 20 fruitless rounds, and on Monday there were also negotiations about a new collective agreement for 3,500 pilots and flight attendants. The airline and the employees agreed not to disclose any details.
Wage and salary negotiations entered their third round today for the approximately 60,000 employees in the electrical and electronics industry. Reinhold Binder, chief negotiator for the Pro-Ge union, is calling for a real wage increase. That would be an increase of more than 6.8 percent. The association points to the tense economic situation.
The third round of negotiations in the chemical industry will take place on Tuesday. On Monday, 350 works councils met in Leonding to demand a real wage increase for 50,000 employees in the industry.
