This Monday, at a press conference, the Broad Front leader maintained that Ciudadanos “did the complete opposite of what politics dictates,” since “he did not even speak with the (other) sectors of his party to build a party consensus.”
In that sense, he explained that the FA is currently studying the plebiscite proposal, which presents “a set of positive factors”, but which presents some “problems.” In turn, he regretted the lack of time they have to “discuss whether this is the best time, or more political and social accumulation is needed.”
“We are fans of the plebiscites are children of great political and social consensus, and that cannot be done in two weeks,” Pereira insisted.
Likewise, he highlighted that the differences that exist “have nothing to do with the substance”, since “all the members of the FA believe that it is a good option to go for the contest and the draw” in the municipalities.

“I think it is time for the National Party (PN) Assume if you are on the side of transparency, of fairness, of the rights of the people and vote for a law in Parliament, or if you are on the side of accommodation, clientelism and playing with people’s work,” shot the former union leader.
On the other hand, he referred to the recently deceased Colorado legislator Adrian Pena: “Senator Peña called several mayors, and I know as a former union leader, because they fired a worker because he was from the PC, or because he changed lists within the PN, this is (with) what needs to end,” he emphasized.
