Influencers created with the help of artificial intelligence have been competing with “human” influencers on Instagram for some time now. The best-known example is Aitana Lopez. She was created with artificial intelligence. On Instagram she shows herself freely, posts pictures from her everyday life and has over 300,000 Followers Aitana makes more than 10,000 euros a month from advertising deals, which flow into the coffers of the advertising agency behind her.

Now it goes one step further. The World AI Creator Awards (WAICA) have launched a competition for AI models in cooperation with Fanvue. In May, the “most beautiful” AI model will be chosen among all applicants. A total of €20,000 will be awarded for the first three places. The creators who designed the women with AI will benefit from this.
How is AI evaluated?
According to the organizers, points are awarded for the beauty, technology and social media appearance of the AI models. The category of beauty includes visual characteristics such as general appearance, outfits and posture. In addition, as in the classic Miss competitions, the personality of the artificial women should also be tested. To do this, the models are asked questions like: “If you had one wish to make the world a better place, what would it be?”
In the technology category, the tool used to create and visual details such as the eyes, backgrounds and hands are evaluated. The participating AIs are also judged on their social media presence, such as reach and interactions with users. A WAICA spokesperson told Forbes: “This is not about beauty in the stereotypical sense. It’s about promoting artistic and creative talent and the beauty of the creators’ work.”
At “Miss-AI” not only AI models are evaluated, there are also some on the jury. In addition to the artificial models Aitana Lopez and Emily Pelligrini, the artificially generated models will be judged by beauty pageant historian Sally-Ann Fawcett and entrepreneur and PR consultant Andrew Bloch.
