VP Vice Mayor Hannes Manglberger has been in charge of official business in Helpfau-Uttendorf since the end of January. He took over from Josef Leimer, who resigned after 16 years in office, the OÖN reported. The step has been planned for some time, as has the upcoming election: Hannes Manglberger wants confirmation from the people and not “just” from the local council: On Sunday, April 28th, there will be a call for mayoral elections in the market town. The only candidate on the list is the 43-year-old father of three daughters, who works as a commercial employee. All other parties in the local council (SP and FP) did not send an opposing candidate into the race for the mayor’s chair. In the mayoral election three years ago, Manglberger’s predecessor Josef Leimer was the only candidate.
